Enos was the son of John Curtis and Elizabeth Yount. They married about 1800 in Randolph County and had two sons, Enos and Emsley, before Elizabeth died maybe around 1810, I'm just guessing. There is an 1818 petition for partition of the lands in Montgomery County, Ohio of Elizabeth's father, George Yount, that proves this.Elizabeth's first husband was James Robbins, by whom she had four children. Her ancestry is known back to Germany.John Curtis was the son of Joseph and Lovey (?) Curtis of Randolph County, and Joseph was the son of Samuel Curtis.Three of John's brothers and widowed mother settled in Clark County, Indiana. There is a book on John Enos' descendants and I have found some descendants from his second marriage and from his brother Benjamin. There should be some DNA test results in 6-8 weeks.
