I wonder if we may be remotely connected? I have a Jane Curtin in my history. My Jane is earlier than yours, born circa 1837-her father was John and her mother Catherine. My Jane also came to MA from Ireland (I don't know what part of Ireland)--she married a Henry Morse. My Jane died in 1872. It was common practice to use the same names from one generation to the next. I have no idea if any of my Jane's immediate family came to America.
