I believe that Carlos Curry was my great-grandfather.
If I am correct then he was married to Zora Emeline Henry and had two sons of which I am aware; Carl, and Elbert George.
My grandfather was Elbert George Curry and I remember him well.
Older family members speak often of his father as being Carl Curry that was married to Zora Henry and they say his father was Oliver and that his father was from Ireland.
They say that Carl was born in Iowa and also some of the census reports I have found show a different spelling of Mary Albert as being Mary Aulbert.
I am still attempting to prove that my great-grandfather's name was Carlos instead of Carl.
I suppose I could just pick up the phone and ask one of the older family members but I'm being stubborn about it and trying to prove it on my own.
I know there are plenty of records down on the old Elbert Curry farm south of Joplin Mo. and many of my relatives are currently living on that farm, (including one of my sisters).
I hope this helps you in your endeavors. You may reply to me at [email protected]
