good morning Carol, I went through the pages that I copied of the "Florida Department of Military Affairs" Special Archives Publications of the Seminole Wars muster rolls.I found Grandville J Curry who was born in Marion Co FL.I found Granville in15 years old on his fathers home "John Curry" 1850 Census Marion Co FL with Willie Curry 18 years old next door with "Priest" family, he was born in GA. on the same census there is William Curry Sr and Jr, with a Lawton Curry in the next household too them.I have Followed this William Sr and John Curry from 1820 Tattnel/Effingham GA to Marion County FL by 1850.
There is also listed in the Seminole Indian War muster rolls, "the pages I have to look at" a(James Curry and Russell)they look like father and son.Im going to the Orlando Library today,to look at there census records , Ill see if they have a copy of this collection of books too while Im there, If not Ill go to Ocala as soon as I can to check there copies for Wiley and Russell and Lawton.
My Curry line is Jonas/Jones b 1810 , who we believe might have had an older brother "Joel" they both are in FL 1840/50 (Columbia Co- Putam Co)Florida.
I still have a lot of notes to check , and Ill be back intouch with you.
Regards
