My wife's great-grandmother, Aletha Curry Martin is buried in Beech Creek Cemetery along with many of her relatives. We were down there two or three weeks ago for the JAMES Reunion.Aletha's dad was James Eldridge Curry (a Confederate Veteran); her mother was Sarah Luvenia Meredith Curry. She had a brother named Eldridge Rankin Curry, and sisters named Anna, Della, and Nettie.I believe all are in Beech Creek, with their husbands. There was a VERY old tombstone of an I. Gustard Curry, but it was gone when I looked the other day--I have it written down somewhere.According to some research a relative sent me, James E. Curry was the son of James W. Curry and Emily Johnston Curry.James W. Curry was the son of Allen Howell Curry and Silvey Wilson Curry.Allen was the son of a Richard and Patience Curry.Patience ________ Curry was born in Ireland.James Eldridge Curry lived in Caldwell Parish, La., but we have had a tough time trying to find him on census records.I still don't have much on that side of my wife's ancestors--many questions remain, and I don't have much in the way of proof.
Good luck
