Ebenezer CURRY moved his family from Alabama to Texas during Reconstruction. They first settled in Austin County. My branch of the family (Emma Frances CURRY + William Heywood DAVIS) migrated to Liberty County in 1899.I think this is purely fortuitous but some of Emma Curry's descendants have been in Limestone County, Texas for much of the 20th century.These Curry descendants are second cousins to Lou Curry's descendants back in Alabama.Maybe your husband's relatives have been closer than you thought.Wouldn't that be ironic!
