I've found the Currie Family to be larger than I ever imagined. I'm not sure I can help you, but my GGF was Francis A. Currie of Missouri, born about 1854. I'm not sure where he was from, but wherever it was, it seems he must have wanted to forget, because I have no trail on him either. If, in my search, I find any Francis in Louisiana, I'll remember you.
