Update... this family was found in MI in 1880:

According to the 1880 census of South Haven Twp of Van Buren County of Michigan. (District 220) p. 583. Carrie should be Currie below:

Louise Carrie        33 wife keeping home Eng. Eng. Eng.
Ella S. Carrie         7 daughter Iowa Conn Eng.
Rose White        26 sister (in-law) Eng. Eng. Eng.
