We are trying to find the Currie family to which these Curries belong: In the 1880 census in Cumberland Co, a James Currie, age 17, lived with his cousin Malcomb/Malcolm
Currie, aged 24. Malcomb is listed as head of household. Also in the household are "aunt" Saley Currie, age 49 and "cousin" Mary, 11. All of them were born in NC.
We are searching for our grandfather James M. Currie, born about 1863 in NC. By the 1910 census, he was in Slidell, Louisiana. He and both parents were born in NC.
Any help so much appreciated!
