Susan,George W. Currie was my GrGrGrandFathers bro. They came from Miss. In the 1970's to Polk Co. Tx. Elizabeth was the Dtr. of William Stewart.They both died in the 1880;s in san jacinto co. tx. their oldest dtr.Caroline married J,J,Templeton and they lived in Robertson Co. Tx. She had all of their children living with her,1900 census.the area was south of R.R.tracks.her husband was dead.You will find all of the children in that co 1910,1920.and possibly 1930.George and Elizabeth both buried Foster Cem. San Jacinto co. Tx. no markers.Elizabeth was 15 yr's his jr.Her parents also moved to Texas with them.Their next dtr. married my gr.grand father Thomas Loper Her name was Sally.She also lived in that co. in 1920.I have a lot of info on the Curries would be happy to share with you.
