In Response to Curries in Saint John N.B. my mother who was a Currie from Campbellton, N.B. had a cousin Ronald Currie and her grandfather who came from the Isle of Arran in Scotland, his name also was Ronald. Ronald married Margaret McCurdy from Restigouche county and they had a large family of a few boys and several girls. These children moved around New Brunswick, and settled in various places. The first Ronald Currie in our family came to N.B. around l820 to Dalhousie, N.B.He lived to be about 70 years old, as did his wife. One of his daughters was Jennie and William was my mother's father. Hope this may help you.
