My Cousin Mary also checked her records and this is her follow-up: I don't believe that this John Currie could be a son of John & Margaret. They were married 26 Aug 1836. Margaret was born in 1810 which would have made her 16 yrs old at the time of John's born 1826 birth. They had all girls. Catherine born abt. 1837, Sarah b. 184, Margaret b. 1844, Anne b. 1850, Mary b. abt. 1853 and Ellen b. abt. 1853.
I am sure there must be some connection however, as they were all in the same area. There were also some of my Blue family that married into the Henderson family as well as the Currie famlily. We should all research this further.
