I have a Malcolm CURRIE, b: 1791, Moore County, NC, (son of John and Catherine BLUE CURRIE) m: Nancy Jane McDONALD abt 1825.
I do not have any records indicating that they left the Rockingham area of NC though.
Their children were all born in NC:

Mary CURRIE, b: 1837 m Sandy McDONALD
Abigail "Abbie" CURRIE, b: Jun 1838
Christian CURRIE, b: 1838
Rachel CURRIE, b: 1840
Hector B. CURRIE, B 1834 m Sarah Jane DAWKINS (Isabella's step granddaughter)
Nancy CURRIE, b 1833
Malcolm CURRIE, b: 1842 m Sarah Thomas, daughter of James and Elizabeth (Bolton) THOMAS. Malcolm operated a saw mill on Cartledge Creek. After his death Sarah married Henry Covington.
Daniel D CURRIE, b: 1844 m Catherine Ann McDONALD
Duncan B. CURRIE, b: 1/17/1848 d: 10/11/1923 never married
Neill Thompson CURRIE, b: 5/23/1833 d: 5/23/1916 m: Margaret Patterson, Jane Stewart Margaret Patterson CURRIE is buried at Sandy Ford Cemetery, Richmond County, NC
