my side of the currie family came from cape fear, nc in the 1770's and moved to georgia in the 1800's and later to mississippi. in that family were a daniel and neil(spelling has varied) currie.
i am the seventh generation of edward currie, sr. and these names i mentioned above are descendants of his.
my mother's maided name is ruth currie.
my name is sid corhern and i live in new smyrna beach, florida about 2 1/2 hours from you.
