Josiah was the son of Anthony Jr and Isabella
Sikes. This info is found in Norfolk Co.-Va. Archives Land and deed books. It is basically the wills of Joseph Sr, Josiah's great-grandfather and then into his grandfather's will (Anthony Sr) etc.
Hope this helps you. I search for Joseph Curling whose son was Edmund. Any help would be grateful.
Thanks
