I am trying to trace a PETER CURLEY or CURLY who was in the Army (61st. Reg or 64th Reg. records show both). He was married to an Ellen Fitzgerald brobably in the R.C. Church St. Marys in a little village Buttevant, in County Cork Ireland prior to 1850. They had one child Serah sometime before the marriage. She was baptised on 3rd Jan. 1846 at the same Church. Ellen was convicted and found guilty of murdering another un-named child in 1850 and was transported for life to Van Diemans Land as a convict. Any info on Peter would be really appreciated.
