My brother and I are the sons of Elizabeth F. Curley daughter of Thomas F. Curley of Staten Island, New York. Our mother was born on Staten Island in 1920. We believe her father was born in Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland in, or about, 1877. We believe he was the son of Michael Curley and Sarah (nee Crochan, or Croughan). We believe that Michael came to the U.S. in 1882, and Sarah in 1883. We believe the siblings were Alec born in 1879, Michael born in 1882, John born in 1884, and Lily born in 1888. Other possible sibling names are Gregory, James Joseph, and Sarah Elizabeth. Thomas married Elizabeth Mary Kearns on Staten Island.
Any information anyone has relating to Thomas or any of his siblings would be greatly appreciated.
