According to our family tradition her parents were James Curley and Anne Shields. An 1880 census record for Bridget (by this time married to Charles Petty living in Nashville, Tennessee)lists her parents as being born in Ireland (mother) and "at sea" (father). Bridget is listed as being born in Pennsylvania. I am not certain if Jim and Anne died and are buried in Nashville or not. Our family tradition also holds that Jim Curley was Anne Shields' 2nd husband, her first being a man named James Leonard. Notify Administrator about this message?
