Sorry for the long delay in responding. Had misplaced my folder of family info and couldn't find it for quite a while. When you're 74 years old and are surrounded by decades of clutter, sometimes things are hard to locate. But to your Questions:
1. What was JMC's father's name?
His father's name was Michael
2. Did he have a brother or brothers?
Michael Curley had two brothers, my great grandfather John and another brother Patrick. In addition there were three sisters Mary(Marie), Bridget and Ann.
In addition, if it might help you pin down any further relationship, Michael's father's name, my Great-Great Grandfather was John and he was married to a Catherine Faherty.
