I'm not sure which part of Galway my ancestors come from. My great grandfather was Hugh or Hubert Curley, and Married Mary Carty and emmigrated to the US. I know also there was a Michael J. Curley, born in Westmeath, Ireland, and became Archbishop of Baltimore, MD. He is supposed to be a relative, Cousin, several times removed. But haven't put it in the proper order as yet. Westmeath is west of Galway, and I think Galway was a deportation point for people going to the US. Do you have any information on the Curley Family that you could shear with me, it would be very helpful.
