you stse that Carl Eugene Curlee m. Lucy Ann Pate daughter of Marion & Sarah (Ryals) Pate. Do you mean that Sarah was a Ryals?
In my husbands line(Curlee) his father, Charles M. Curlee m. Bessie Louise Miers and her (Bessies) mother was a Annie Melton But from Marion Co., Buena Vista to be exact. But the entry I am looking at is that Charles grandfather John C. Curlee m. Melissa Riles(date unknown as yet) because I just received the funeral file from the funeral home in Oregon where Charles M. was buried and it states his father as John C. Curlee and his mother as Melissa Riles(no dates). I am trying to get a few hours of spare time to go to Chattahoochee Courthouse(I live in Columbus area) to get down to the family information.
Up until Thursday (9/6/07) all we knew about Charles M. Curlee was his name as Walter's father. And I do mean ALL! Truly amazing what one tiny bit of info can open up to. I have been in Genealogy for about 12years now...but am still amazed!
