On the headstone of Syrus Curlee, burried in Covington, Johnson, Texas, it reads: Syrus A. Curlee b. Feb 10, 1855
d. March 3, 1904.
To the side of him is Mary Ellen (Little) Curlee. b. Oct 4, 1860 d. Mar 6, 1937
On the Texas Soundex 1900. it reads: "Sirus" born GA Feb 1855 living in Hill Co with wife Ellen-Oct 1887.
Somewhere,(I forgot to document it) I found that Charles P.Curlee was orn Aug 19, 1854. in Coosa Co, AL and died
Jan 24, 1909 in Clay Co. AL.
This couldn't be true as there is only six months difference in ages.
I am completely confused!
