Carrie Curl Dies Saturday at age of 93
Mrs. Carrie Curl, 93, of 1051 N. Prairie Street...was the last member of a family of 18 children of her late parents Nelson and Amanda Gillum George. Interment is to be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Born in Nicholas County, Kentucky, Nov 3, 1866, she wed Jessie A. Curl on March 2, 1901.He passed away in 1925.
The family had moved from Carlyle, Kentucky to Sheridan in 1901 and to Frankfort in 1918. Survivors include one son, Eddie L. Curl of Frankfort, two daughters, Mrs. Audra Brown of Lima, Ohio and Mrs. Edna Tessman of Minneapolis, Minnesota and four grandchildren. One son preceded her in death.
