Re: African Amerian Curls in Kansas City M0

I found a paper that Curls had released some
slaves and taught them to right. I think
one was Rufus Curl. The paper I have says
that the Kansas City Curls (Afrian Americans)
knew of the legends of the early Caucasion
Curl named Big Wolf raised by American Indians starting when he was 4 1/2. His name
was Bill Curll Sr. Some of the Caucasion
Curls are dark complected. An older woman
at Stockton, M0 close to my group said that
her uncle was dark and was not allowed into
a resturant in California in the 1930's,
discrimination, since the people who ran the
restrunat thought he was an American Indian
or Latino. I dont know if you are interested
in this. But seeing your message I thought
I would give it a shot.

Roger
