I am also looking for information on the curl family. My information has it that Jeremiah Curle lived in New Kent Co Virginia. My own ancestor, John Tyre Curl was born in Virginia. There was a family of Curls from New Kent co..William Henry Curl and Elizabeth Tyree..who had sons John, b. 1781 and Jeremiah b abt 1782. My John Tyre was born 12 Dec 1781. I believe he was that John who was William Henry and Elizabeths son. No proof, of course. I wonder if My ancestor, John Tyre Curl could have been a nephew of your Jeremiah. There is a big gap in my Curl information after William Henry Curl and Elizabeth Tyree. Does anyone out there know anything about William and Elizabeth?
