Hi
Actually my line I'm researching now are the Prices of Blount County. My great grandfather was William Freeman Price & 2 of his sisters married Curls:Melvina married James Pleasant Curl and Lucy married John Curl. Both brothers are sibs of the line you mentioned.
1870 census Blount Co, AL notes:
John50b. SC
Taletha49b. TN
Jane24
Burl18
John17
Pleasant15
Amanda13
Polly12
Jasper10
Taletha7
Isaac4
All children were born in Alabama.Interestly there was another Curl living next door according to the census:
Jeremiah99b. GA
Jensie79b. SC
I assume that these were John's parents...perhaps his mom was his father's second wife.I think the Curl's moved to Walker county by the 1880 census.I live in Lawrence Co. & drive down to Blount. If you need anything, just ask.I would like the sibs & offspring info of John & parents, please. Thanks
Patty
