Don,

To get a better idea of the time frame for the Curl/Yeazel move from WV to OH check out the Harrison Co. WV genweb site. They will have some tax lists 1800-1806. My Charles Botkin 1738-1820 married a Jemima Curl that we think is Wm's sister. Charles Botkin and Wm Curl moved to OH at the about same time. I show Charles Botkin selling land in Lost Creek WV starting in 1803 and I think he sent his older sons ahead to Warren/Clinton Co.'s and then he appears in Champaign/Clark in 1808 and many of the party follow him into Clark. The Botkin/Curl/Yeazel/Runyan and Davisson moved together. Before Lost Creek WV Charles Botkin and Wm Curl were in Hampshire then Hardy now Grant Co. WV living just west of Mooresfild.

A question for you. How has Wm Curl's birth date been established? 1754. I have seen some conflicts with this date. I think there are two Wm Curl's.

Contact me directly on this last issue.

Hope this help.
