Albert Cureton may be Nancy Cureton's brother. Nancy married Josiah A. Christie in 1815, in Hancock County, GA before moving to Upson County. They named their last son Josiah Albert Christie who moved to Arkansas. It is supposed that Nancy's parents were William Cureton and Margaret Crawl [Croll] who married in 1789 in Greene County, GA. I have wondered recently, though, if Hannah Cureton may have been Nancy's mother because in 1810, Hannah was in Newberry, SC, and in 1812, she appears on the Hancock County, GA tax list. Josiah was born in 1795, in Edgefield District, SC in what is now Saluda County 4-5 miles from Newberry District; Nancy was born in 1797, and died in 1830, possibly very shortly after giving birth to their last child, Robert Christie who ended up in Florida after the Civil War.
