Hi Mary Beth,

I have been looking for that information myself. I assumed Elizabeth was Albert's mother, but have found no other indications, besides the 1850 census.

In the 1830 Upson County, GA census there is a Hannah Cureton (age 60-70) & a William Cureton/Curton (age 30-40) listed separately, but I don't know to what Cureton family group either belong.

My Curetons were in neighboring Talbot County, Georgia in the 1840 census. It appears they were probably a group of brothers: William, John, & J. Green.

I have not identified very many records for Curetons or related surname in Upson or Talbot counties. If you find additional information, please let me know.
