Thanks Mary for your very good reply. Isuspected this was the case. Not the first time i have ran across names being changed along the way for convenience or whatever. I am impressed with the info you have about the original root name of Kuerden. Thanks so uch. iI can be of futher help please advise . I am a Crow resarcher whoich is my fathers side and on my mothers side is the Thrifts as the major and the Sherrards and the Andersons are on the flank.
