Coppernall family on my web site. Follow links to Surname page from home page; http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~walkersj/index.htm
I am descendant of Reuben and Margaret Coppernoll Parkhill of Clockville. Mother grew up in Clockville so know area well although currently living in Virginia.
I also am interested in learning more about this Coppernoll family as I have not yet found ancestry of my Margaret conclusively.
I suspect my Margaret is from the family of Adam Coppernoll and Elizabeth Van Zeis of Herkimer Co., NY. Descendants of this family settled in Madison Co., NY., including son Adam who married Elizabeth Post - I do not have a listing of Adam and Elizabeth Post Coppernoll's children.
In one of the census at Clockville, Rev. War Vet, Adam Coppernoll is found living with my ancestor M. Gena Parkhill Phipps who was grandaughter of my Margaret Coppernoll.
I'm sorry to say I have nothing concrete to help you - Elizabeth was a common name in this family as was Margaret. Clockville was a small place, and records are difficult to come across prior to 1880 in this area.
Please send me more info on this line and maybe something else will ring a bell or clue me in to something that might help. My private e mail is walkersj1@excite.com
