I am researching James Monroe Cunningham born 1821 and married 1/4/1843 to Elizabeth (aka Louisa, Luisa, Eliza) E. Lewis in Rhea Co. TN. They had the following children:
1. Thomas D. Cunningham Born 6/9/1844
2. John Wiley Cunningham Born 2/18/1847 in Washington Co. TN. Died 6/6/1919 in Pearsall, TX. Married 9/24/1865 (first wife) Sarah Malissa Elliott. Married 1/22/1890 (second wife) Lenora Remaline "Lina" Epperson.
3. William V. Cunningham Born 1849 in TN.
4. James H. Cunningham Born 1852? in TN.
5. Margaret F. Cunningham Born 1857? in TN.
6. Julia?
My great grandfather was John Wiley Cunningham, who moved with first wife from Dunlap, Sequatchie area of TN to TX. Cannot find anything at all about his parents or siblings after the Civil War, would be very grateful for any info at all regarding his parents and siblings.
