Hi Todd....

I am new to the Cummins family research, having just determined that there were Cummins in my husband's line.

I am researching a Simeon Joshua Cummins, born 6/16/1861, in Lorain County, Ohio. I responded to your post because of the names of Thomas' children. Many of them are also the same as Simeon's children.

The missing link is Simeon's siblings and ancestors. The time frame of Thomas' birth could put him as a grandfather of Simeon.

Do you think there may be a connection?

Thanks for your time and good luck with your search. IF I find anything else about your line while I am researching in Ohio (I plan on going up there for a week) I will forward the info on to you.
