I am researching two soldiers who enlisted in the 26th Arkansas Infantry Regiment during the Civil War. They are:

Joel Cummins Co. C Pvt/Pvt
Enlisted 12 May 1862 in Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, Arkansas. Present through Jun 1863.
Took Oath of Allegiance 17 Oct 1863 at Pine Bluff, listing home as Pine Bluff; age, 21; eyes,
gray; hair, light brown; complexion, fair; height, 5'6"; occupation, farmer. Enlisted 6 Feb 1864
at Pine Bluff in Company G, 4th Arkansas Cavalry Regiment (Union). Promoted to Sergeant.
Age at enlistment: 20. Born in Hardy County, Georgia. Age listed as 15 on 1860 Jefferson
County Census.

William Cummins Co. H Pvt/Pvt
Enlisted 13 Jun 1862 in Johnson County, Arkansas. Present through Feb 1864. Filed Pension
Application (24186) 18 Aug 1915 from Logan County. Died 6 Dec 1916. Widow Sallie
Cummins filed Pension Application 15 Aug 1917.

I have no genealogical connection to these men but am writing a book on their regiment. Any help in learning their dates/places of birth, death, and burial location would be greatly appreciated.
