Here's a possibility. our Tobin and Cummins relatives go all the way back (so far) to a Thomas Cummins, whose youngest son was William, born in 1844. William came to Missouri in 1865. They had lived in Ballycloven, West Court and Ahenure, all in County Kilkenny. We have kept track of that William's brothers Edmond, Patrick and sister Mary (who married James Tobin). We didn't have much on William. I have hundreds of relatives of the other 3. If this matches some of what you have, please contact me via e-mail. Here's the first part of the genealogy report about Thomas; there are many names similar to your names in the next generation, consistent with Irish naming traditions. 1. THOMAS1 CUMMINS was born Bef. 1800, and died 1848. He married HANORA WHELAN. She was born Abt. 1800, and died 1865. Children of THOMAS CUMMINS and HANORA WHELAN are: 2. i. EDMOND2 CUMMINS, b.
