Cummins from OH to TX in 1900

I am just beginning my family research. Here is what I have so far.
Jim (James?) Cummins lived in OH in 1880 and married ____
and they had at least one son.
______ CUMMINS married Ruth Coon in OH in late 1800's and had 3 children
there: Clifford, Helen, Faith. Then they moved to southern TX
and had another son, Paul, who is my father.

I have gathered a lot of info on Cummins and Coon in OH, but so far have found
no tie-ins.
