I have Bridget CUMMINS,b.ca 1835, dau of John and Ellen Cummins, Haggard, Wexford, IRL. Bridget married Thomas PHELAN and emigrated to Canada. Her oldest child, John James PHELAN was born 1855 in Quebec City, Quebec. One of his baptismal sponsors was Charles COMMONS/CUMMINS.
Bridget & Thomas also had two daughters, Mary Ellen b.1860, and Anastasia b.1862. The family migrated to New York City before 1870; children were all born in Canada.
