Those Cummins started out Presbys. Some became Baptists etc.
Some even trekked west and become Mormon, had too many
wives to be Presbys.

There is a problem with the Samuels in this time frame. Two lines
that go back to THE Charles, the immigrant, should not conflict,
they do! I think one has to be a brother and not an inline father.
I think your Samuel is the grandson of the Samuel son of Thomas,
son of THE Charles.
Thus far, nobody has found the data to sort it out. A ton of people
have tried.
