I am a descendant of Britamore Cummings of Cummings Kansas. We have traced the family line as far back as William Cummyne b 1580, some say London...I am just curious if anyone has any information that goes back farther than William? So far I have been unable to find anything. Trying to find if he was actually from London, or as others have reported, maybe from Scotland?? Any information would be appreciated. I have information on the Britamore Cummings line if anyone is interested. Thanks!
