I think the joseph cummins you mention is my great grandfather.He was married to lavinia (louis) on dec 8,1853 in lower island cove,nfld.They had a number of children other than olivia,including my grandfather,henry william cummins,and at least one who died at 1.5 years old.They moved to st. john's from lower island cove,i'm not sure when.My grandfather,his brother charles,and maybe other siblings moved to montreal.If you have additional information about the cummins family,I would appreciate it.
