Henry L. Cummins was born in 1838 in Livingston Co., NY, and in 1870 was married to Miss EMMA TELFORD, of Castile,Wyoming Co.,NY. He came to Castile, Wyoming Co.,NY in 1843. He is a member of the firm of Hoagland, Cummins & Co., manufactures of wholesale and retail dealers in improved chilled plows, cultivators and other agricultural implements. He enlisted in 1862 in Company A, 1st dragoons, was wounded June 11th, 1864, and in July 1865, he was discharged.
