My CUMMINS line also has a William Cummins b 1805. According to Census records he was born in NC. Because I do not have his wife's (Emily) maiden name, this tree branch has stopped there. This has created a situation where I have to collect info on several Wm Cummins born this critia and go through a process of elimination.
By the 1830 US Census the family is in Jefferson Co. Ala and then in Attala Co Miss by 1860. By the 1870 US Census he and Emily have disappeared with no evidence of where or when they died.
