I think my family connects to this one. I believe I am descended from a Dempsey Cummins from Edgefield South Carolina born est 1770-1780. At least two children that I am suspicious of but have no absolute proof right now... including William and Demspey Jr. and possibly a Nancy who later married a David Johnston. William likely married a Lottie Evans and they probably had two children...Fenton and Julia in the 1830's.
