Searching for more information about the family of John H. CUMMINS, born about 1796 in Derry Township, Westmoreland Co, Pennsylvania of Irish descent; died 4 June 1880 in West Newton, Westmoreland Co, Pennsylvania; married Elizabeth, daughter of Peter MILLER and had 10 children. Only children known are:
1) Alexander CUMMINS, b. abt 1820/22 in PA; d. 4 Mar 1903 probably in KS; marr bef June 1849 to Elisabeth (unknown).
2) Mary, birth & death unknown; married John C. WALKINSHAW and lived in Derry Township, Westmoreland Co, PA.
3) James CUMMINS, birth & death unknown; lived in Iowa.
4) Elizabeth, married John McQUAID and lived in Philadelphia.
