Just grasping at straws, here, but I've recently discovered the COLE ancestors I'm researching were related to the Daniel BOONE family. John Cole b. 1728 (son of immigrant Stephen Cole Jr. b. abt. 1700 d. 1744 Chester Co., PA) m. Jane BOUNDS(VA,I think). Jane's sister Margery BOUNDS m. Peter VAN BIBBER, and their dau Olive m. Daniel BOONE's son Nathan. Now, my ancestor was John Cole b. 1795 d. 1844 Lincoln Co., TN. His son Anderson Cole b. 1837 m. Lucy Easter Cummins. All just coincidence?
