Your Henry Comins was a son of Abraham (Abram) Cummins and Seene (unknown)who were married while Abraham was living in Washington County, NY. He was in the 1790 census in the town of Granville (1, 0, 2) Probably Abraham, his wife Seene and dau. Jenny. He located on Lot No.7, 7th concession
in Augusta, Grenville co., Ont.ca.1799. He lived there until his death, after 1836.
He served in the war of 1812, in the Flank Co., 1st Reg., Grenville Militia. He recieved a "Land Claim Certificate" for his srevice.
Henry married Marianna Throop 06 Jan 1820. "Baptizms and Marriages- Brockville and District 1812-1846" by Edward A Livingston CD UE.He must have moved to Ohio shortly after.
