William Cumberland married Eliza Marshall on Feb 6 1851 at Clonfeacle Parish, County Tyrone. They were both living at Terryscolip at the time of the marriage. William's parents were John and Jane Cumberland, Eliza's father was William Marshall. There is a John Cumberland listed in Griffith's Valuation (1848-1864) living at Roan, Clonfeacle Parish in Tyrone.
William Cumberland's son, John Cumberland, married Jane Skelton in Glasgow, Scotland on Jun 10, 1881. They had two children, Elizabeth and Matilda Cumberland. Jane passed away on Jul 10, 1885 and John remarried. His second wife was Sarah Hilliard, married in 1887. They had three children, Margaret, Catherine and John Cumberland in Glasgow. The elder John passed away in Glasgow in 1932.
I would like to hear from anyone researching the Cumberland and Marshall families in Tyrone.
