I am looking for the family and parentage of Robert Sucker Comberbach and his wife Annie (maiden name unknown). They had at least one son, Donald, born in Macclesfield, Cheshire, England 3 March 1891, who married in Winnipeg, Manitoba on 23 March 1911, to Winnifried Mae Bowler (born 15 November 1881, somewhere in Ontario, Canada; died 17 September 1975 in Winnipeg), dying in Winnipeg sometime in 1952.
It may be that the middle name Sucker is a variant of Suker or Shuker, indicating that Robert Sucker Comberbach was likely a descendant of Shuker/Suker Comberbach and his wife Mary Roden/Rhoden of Prees, Shropshire (i.e. Salop), among whose sons there was son Robert Shuker Comberbach, baptised at Prees on 21 June 1773 who married Elizabeth Glover at Ryton of the Eleven Towns, Salop., on 1 December 1801, and among other issue had a son Robert Suker Comberbach, baptised on 5 June 1812 at Ruyton who is probably identical with the Robert Luker Comberback [sic] who married Elizabeth Luker Commander at St Mary's Church of England parish church, Warwick, Warwickshire, England on 1 November 1838. This latter couple's offspring is partially listed in the IGI (whence I derived the rest of the foregoing information apart from that contained in the first paragraph of my query)
viz.: 1) John Comberback [sic] baptised on 22 September 1839 at Ruyton of the Eleven Towns; 2) Elizabeth Comberbach, baptised 17 January 1841 at Ruyton of the Eleven Towns; and 3) Mary Ann Comberbach, baptised on 17 October 1842 at Ruyton of the Eleven Towns.
