re:Philip Feilden Farnworth - He was my grandfather and always spelt his name as Feilding, so another clerical error? Also, he married Alathea Elizabeth Farrimond, not Elizabeth. She was always called Aice in N.Z. and one of my sisters was named after her (as Althea, Mum preferred that version!)Nana said that her mother named her after the then queen's lady-in-waiting.I have not been able to find any records relating to Alathea until yesterday, when I came across a birth reg. for her dated 1909. As they were married in 1909 her own father must never have registered her and she had to do it herself to get married!Regards, Barbara Taylor.(some sort of relative)
