actually the family seems to have moved back and forth from Ala to GA for a time. Elizabeth had a son Benjamin F. Culpepper and by the 1880 census when he is 16, he is living with Elizabeth's younger brother John Marion Caldwell and his family. Elizabeth's father died before the 1850 census as her mother is listed as head of household and Elizabeth was not married as of that record
